It has been announced that the TV anime "mono", based on the manga by Afro, who is known for "Laid-Back Camp", will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from April 12th. Prior to the broadcast, a special program "mono Stroll - Special Cast Program Just Before the Broadcast of the TV Anime 'mono'" will be aired on TOKYO MX and other stations from 12:30 am on March 29th. The special program will feature Mikawa Kazuki, who plays Amemiya Satsuki, Aoi Koga, who plays Kiriyama Ann, and Tono Hikaru, who plays Shikishima Sakurako.
"Mono" is a manga that depicts the daily lives of high school girls in the "Cinephoto Club," a club formed by a merger between the Photography Club and the Video Studies Club. It is currently being serialized in "Manga Time Kirara Carat" (Houbunsha).
The anime will be directed by Ryota Aike and produced by Soine. In addition to Mikawa, Koga, and Tono, it will also feature Reina Ueda and Maki Kawase.
