"UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama and depicts the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have laid the foundations for Japan's media industry and pop culture.
In the 11th episode, Tsutaju (Yokohama-san), who is worried because her "Blue Chamber Beauty Double Mirror" is not selling for a high price, is asked by her fathers to invite the popular Joruri chanter Tomimoto Toyosato (Gonosuke) to be the centerpiece of the Niwaka Festival.
She visits the theater with Rittsu (Adachi Yumi) and others and asks Umanosuke to participate in the Niwa Festival, but Umanosuke, who had been banned from entering Yoshiwara in the past, turns Tsutae away.
Umanosuke was banned from Yoshiwara. To clear up the misunderstanding, Ritsuko bows to Umanosuke. Umanosuke accepts the apology, and at Tsutaju's request, he performs his beautiful voice in front of the courtesans and furisode shinzo who are usually not allowed to go to the theater. The voice even moves the carefree Kaori (Inagaki Raizumi) to tears... and so the story unfolds.
