It has been announced that a movie version of Sound! Euphonium! Sound! Euphonium , based on the novel by Ayano Takeda , entitled Final Movement Sound! Euphonium, will be produced and screened in 2026. The announcement was made at the Sound! Euphonium 10th Anniversary Event, held at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on March 16th. A promotional video announcing the production, looking back on the series' 10 years of history, and a teaser visual featuring the protagonist, Oumae Kumiko, with a dignified smile, were also released.

"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the Kitauji High School brass band and depicts the growth of the band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, and the second season from October to December 2016.

The third and final season, "Sound! Euphonium 3," was broadcast on NHK Educational TV from April to July 2024. It depicted the passionate youth of Kumiko, who is now in her third year of high school and has been appointed as the captain of the Kitauji High School brass band, in the final days of her high school life. Following on from the previous series, it was directed by Tatsuya Ishihara and produced by Kyoto Animation.
