Actor Touma Ami held a launch event for her first photobook, "Touma Ami First Photobook Ami" (Shogakukan) in Tokyo on March 9th. The photobook features Touma from her third year of junior high school to her third year of high school, and it has also attracted attention as it shows her in a swimsuit for the first time. With the three-year shooting period, she said, "I think the highlight is seeing how I've grown over that time. I think my feelings about acting have changed a lot. My living environment has changed a lot. For example, I now travel by train, which wasn't the case in Okinawa, so my daily life has changed. At first, there were some parts that I found a little difficult, but now I enjoy every day and I discover new things." She seemed to realize how much she has grown.
The photobook begins in Okinawa in the winter of her third year of junior high school, and shows her enjoying her hometown for the last time before moving to Tokyo, then in the winter of her first year of high school, she devotes herself to kendo and gets used to city life, and in the winter of her second year of high school, she goes on a school trip to Nagano, where she takes care of horses at a ranch and gets excited by the panoramic snowy scenery. In the winter of her third year of high school, she goes on a graduation trip to southern Taiwan, where she experiences history and culture, and is seen galloping around the marine blue sea in a swimsuit. A4 size, 128 pages. 3,520 yen.
Having graduated from high school, she was enthusiastic about her future activities, saying, "I'm no longer a high school student, and from now on I want to work hard and be proud of myself as an actress. At work, I want to try new things, and I would like to take on roles and action roles I've never played before. In my private life, I want to travel to different places. I would like to travel around different parts of Japan, and as I've only been to Taiwan so far, I'd like to travel there little by little."
