Details of the ambassador stage by idol group Sakurazaka46, who will act as ambassadors for AnimeJapan 2025, one of the world's largest anime events, have been announced. Events will include Sakurazaka46 introducing the highlights and important information of AnimeJapan, voice actors Junichi Suwabe and Mariya Ise Ise will appear on stage at Sakurazaka46's Anime Talk! Day 1, an event with mascots, and events for "The Summer Hikaru Died" and "The Blue Box."
It was also announced that some of the AnimeJapan stage events will be streamed live for free. ABEMA will be the promotional partner, and four new "AnimeJapan Channels" will be opened for a limited time: RED STAGE, GREEN STAGE, BLUE STAGE, and WHITE STAGE. In addition to broadcasting the stage, the four channels will also be streaming free content related to the titles participating in the event.
AnimeJapan is an event that started in 2014, and this will be its 12th time. Following on from the previous event, which recorded over 130,000 visitors, the event will be held on the largest scale yet at the East Exhibition Halls 1-8 and Conference Tower of Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo). A record 117 companies will be exhibiting, including Aniplex, KADOKAWA, and TOHO animation.
The public days will be March 22nd and 23rd, the business days will be March 24th and 25th, and the "Family Anime Festa 2025" for families and kids will be held on March 22nd and 23rd.
