Nata: Madou Toukai:Chinese hit anime with Japanese subtitles released on April 4th, grossing 300 billion yen

It has been announced that the Japanese subtitled version of the Chinese animated film "Nata: Madou Toukai" will be released nationwide from April 4th. The sequel to "Nata: Madou Kourin" released in 2019, the film was released in China on January 29th and has been a huge hit, grossing approximately 14.5 billion yuan (approximately 300 billion yen) as of March 2nd.

A 3DCG animation starring Nata, a mythical character who appears in "Engi" and "Journey to the West." It was in the top 10 of the weekly box office rankings in the United States for three consecutive weeks and is the highest grossing animated film of all time worldwide.

Following the film's worldwide success, a Japanese subtitled version will be released nationwide. A Chinese audio/Chinese and English subtitled version will be released in limited release from March 14th at around 30 cinemas nationwide, including Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro (Toshima-ku, Tokyo) and Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).
