A new character relationship chart has been released for the NHK evening drama "Hira Yasumi" (General TV, Monday to Thursday, 10:45 PM), starring actor Amane Okayama. The chart for the third season, which begins on November 17th, adds Saki Noguchi, played by Misako Renbutsu, and Yasuki Taro Suruga, played by Taro Suruga.
The drama is based on the manga of the same name by Shinzo Keigo, which has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits since 2021. The story follows 29-year-old part-time worker Ikuta Hiroto (Okayama) who inherits a single-story house from his neighbor, Wada Hanae (Negishi Tokie), and begins living with his 18-year-old cousin Kobayashi Natsumi (Mori Nana), who moved to Tokyo from Yamagata. People with difficult life problems gather around them...
New character Noguchi Saki (Renbutsu) is the wife of Hiroto's best friend from high school, Hideki (Yoshimura Kaito). She is cheerful and lively, and always corrects Hideki's flaws. Hideki cannot resist Saki. She may be overwhelmed by her first childbirth and child-rearing.
Another new character, Nikaido Yasuki (played by Suruga), is the deputy editor-in-chief of the young adult manga magazine "Spirit." He is also the person who started "Neko Ninja Fumi," the manga that Natsumi considers her bible. He is ruthless in his strict training of new recruits, but behind that lies his love and passion for manga.
In addition, in reference to the stage setting, the comedy duo Asagaya Sisters will appear in the drama as themselves.
