The fifth episode of the drama series "A Little Esper" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring Yo Oizumi and written by Akiko Nogi, will be broadcast on November 18th. This episode marks the start of a serious development that gets closer to the heart of the story.
Bunta (Oizumi), a psychic, and his team are urgently summoned by Nona Mare's boss, Cho (Masaki Okada), and given a special mission that seems unusual: to steal a blue case that a certain organization is handing over and sink it into the sea. It is said to be an important case with people's lives at stake, and Bunta is entrusted with a certain "mission."
The day of the mission arrives. Having devised a plan, Bunta and his friends head to the location where the blue case will be handed over, only to be confronted by Ichimatsu (Takumi Kitamura), Shion (Niihara Taisuke), and Hisajo (Mukaizato Yuka). For some reason, the three of them look at Bunta and his friends with hatred, and a battle over the blue case breaks out.
Yuki, played by Kotaro Yoshida, will also appear in this episode. Yuki is a man who has a connection with Enjaku (Atsuko Takahata). This was Yoshida's first time acting alongside Takahata, and he commented, "I couldn't keep up with Takahata's sudden ad-libs, and it felt like he was a completely different actor.
