The second round of guests for the 2nd Domannaka Anime Film Festival, a film festival focusing on 1980s anime, has been announced, revealing that a host of famous voice actors will be appearing, including Aoi Teruhiko and Asagami Yoko (Ichiryusai Shunsui).
Aoi, who plays Yabuki Joe in "Ashita no Joe 2 the Movie," Asagami, who plays Metalmena in "Galaxy Express 999: Andromeda Terminus 4K Remaster," Nanba Keiichi, who plays Locke in "Superhuman Locke," Takemura Taku, who plays Joe in the 4K remaster of the "Crusher Joe" movie, Sasaki Run, who plays Alfin, and Horikawa Ryo, who plays Soap in "The Five Star Stories," will be on stage.
Also appearing on stage will be director Kunihiko Yuyama of "Magical Princess Minky Momo: Rondo of Dreams," Haruka Takachiho, the original author of the 4K remaster of the movie "Crusher Joe," director Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, sound director Susumu Aketagawa of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes : My Conquest is the Ocean of Stars 4K Remaster"and "Legend of the Galactic Heroes : Overture to a New Battle 4K Remaster," director Keizo Shimizu of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes : Overture to a New Battle 4K Remaster," producer Masuro Ueda, who worked on "The Five Star Stories," and producer Masao Maruyama, who worked on "Kamui's Sword" and "The Manga Movie 'Nezumi Kozo Jirokichi' Dedicated to Yamanaka Sadao."
The film festival will be held from May 16th to 22nd at Midland Square Cinema (Nakamura-ku, Nagoya).
