At the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, a bureaucrat named Tsubuki (Kaito Sakurai) suddenly collapses. He is diagnosed with dizziness caused by overwork, but an MRI is taken just to be sure. Makino, who is with Tsubuki, explains the situation to his wife, who rushes to his side.
In the hospital room, his wife, who is about to give birth, clutches her stomach and worries, "What will you do if you can't meet this child?" Tsubuki apologizes, saying, "That's an exaggeration."
As he watched the two of them, Makino recalled a past incident: a man called "Takami-san" was being carried away on a stretcher, with Makino accompanying him.
Meanwhile, Makino is shown telling Tsubuki, "Even if the tests are over and you're discharged tomorrow, don't come to work under any circumstances. It's a work order."
On social media, comments such as, "Judging by his kindness towards Tsubuki, Makino is probably not just a cold-hearted person," "I wonder what kind of connection he has with Takami who appeared in the flashback...he seemed to be a young man," "Makino's 'This is a work order' was too cool," "Today all I could see is that Makino is a kind person," and "I hope Makino is on the side of the authorities."
Some people asked, "Who is Takami? Does Makino also have the trauma of losing someone close to him...?" and "Was the person on the stretcher that Makino saw off Takami? Is he a colleague or someone from the same year?"
