The theme song for Abema's original drama " Shinuhodo Aishite " (starting March 27th at 11pm) starring Hiroki Narimiya , who has just returned to acting after an 8-year hiatus, has been decided to be "Super Special Love" by ENDRECHERI./Domoto Tsuyoshi. Domoto commented, "I hope that while you enjoy the drama, you will also listen to my song at the end, and that it will give you an opportunity to think again about love and life."
The drama is a live-action adaptation of the manga of the same name by Amagi Seimaru, who is known for works such as "The Kindaichi Case Files," which has sold over 100 million copies. It is a pure love suspense story smeared with "love" and "madness" between an ideal husband, Jingu Masato (played by Narimiya), who is a murderer but outwardly devoted to his wife, and his wife, Mio (played by Miori Takimoto), who loves him wholeheartedly. It will be directed by Hideo Jojo, who has worked on films such as "I Want to Be Killed by a High School Girl" and won the 30th Japan Professional Movie Awards Director's Award for "At the Edge of the Alps Stand." It will have a total of 8 episodes.
◇Comment from Tsuyoshi Domoto of ENDRECHERI.
Loving someone means different things to each person, and I hope that listeners will enjoy listening to this song and relate it to their own form of love.
I personally feel that loving someone also includes sadness and transience. Loving someone is a happy thing, but one day we will leave this world. That's why we want to cherish the time of love we share while we're on earth - that feeling naturally came out in this song.
While enjoying the drama, I hope that listening to my song at the end will give you an opportunity to think about love and life again. I have deliberately not given the lyrics a definitive meaning, so I hope that listeners will enjoy the song in their own way.
