The sixth episode of the Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (TBS, Sunday 9pm) starring Tori Matsuzaka was broadcast on February 23rd. The behavior of Kanzaki, played by Daiken Okudaira, became a hot topic on social media.

After an article about him was published in a weekly magazine, Mikami (Matsuzaka) decided to tell his students about his brother, Kota (Niihara Taisuke).
At the time, Kota was a high school student and protested against the school's policy of not allowing students with developmental disabilities to continue to high school. Mikami revealed, "My brother, who was in the broadcasting club, made a school-wide broadcast of his protest against the school, then activated a device he had made and was electrocuted to death."
He also confessed, "Ever since I was little, I had always wanted to be like my brother. Until that day. My model for life suddenly disappeared. My mother went crazy and our home fell apart. After my brother's funeral, I went to school but there was nowhere for me to belong. I couldn't bear it any longer, so I applied to another high school and ran away. But even so, I managed to get this far without becoming a recluse, so maybe I'm just insensitive at heart. But even that made me feel inferior."
Feeling that an "existence" like that of his brother must not be repeated, Mikami decided that "education must change," and stated that he aimed to join the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
After finishing their talk, Migami left the classroom. Kanzaki chased after Migami, calling out, "Okami!" and told him, "I met Yuzuru-san (Mayu Hotta) the other day. Well, that's about it."
When Mikami asked, "How was it?" Kanzaki replied, "The same as always. But I was able to talk a little bit," and then he gently looked at Mikami's face, said, "Well then," and left.
On social media, comments such as, "I think Kanzaki-kun chased after Mikami Sensei because he didn't want to leave him alone. No one could have said anything to him after such a serious conversation, but it would have been a relief if one of the students had chased after him. It's also a sign of Kanzaki-kun's growth," and "I somehow shed tears when he reported that they were able to talk for a bit. Daiken Okudaira kun has a great expression on his face."
When Mikami talked about his brother, he looked at "Kota" who appeared in the classroom. Kanzaki noticed the change in Mikami's gaze. On social media, comments such as "I noticed the way he looked at his brother. Kanzaki is amazing," and "It's great that only Kanzaki noticed the way Mikami Sensei Mikami Sensei at him when he confessed his feelings" were posted.
