It has been revealed that the TV anime "Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi, S-Rank Bokensha ni Hirowareru", based on a popular work that was born from the Shosetsuka ni Naro posting site "Let's Become a Novelist", will begin airing in July. The main cast has also been announced, with Kajiwara Gakuto playing Lloyd, Hidaka Rina playing Yui, Shiraishi Haruka playing Silica, Hirose Daisuke playing Cross, and Yuichiro Umehara playing Dagas.
Kajiwara, who plays Lloyd, who is expelled from the hero's party, commented, "Lloyd has low self-esteem and is ignorant in many ways that doesn't match his inherently great abilities. I think one of the charms of this work is that it depicts his journey as he meets new companions and gradually learns the importance of accepting himself and discovers what is important to him. Hidaka, who plays Yui, a female swordsman who becomes an S-rank adventurer at a young age, said, "Yui is a charming girl with many different sides to her, such as her innocent and cute side, but also her cool side as a party leader. I am playing the role while being conscious of the difference between the battle scenes and everyday scenes. One of the points to look out for in this work is the gap between the protagonist's extraordinary strength and Lloyd's humility, so please look forward to the broadcast."
Shiraishi Haruka, who plays the magic-loving Silica, said, "Silica is very kind and gentle, and I think she's like the big sister figure of the party. I will do my best to play Silica, a hard worker who tries her best to master magic in order to grow as a magician! Although she is confused by the exceptionally strong Lloyd, I'm sure you will be touched and teared up at times by the way they support each other as a party! Let's enjoy the adventure together!"
Hirose, who plays the slightly timid archer Cross, commented, "It's an exciting production to watch and to act in, so I can't wait for it to air! The recording was in a really friendly atmosphere, and the friendship between the characters could be felt in the booth, so it was a lot of fun. I personally like long-range weapons, so I'm really happy to be able to play Cross, who uses a bow. Bows are great, aren't they..."
Umehara, who plays Daggus, the party's walled guard, said, "The character I play, Daggus, is a reliable older brother figure among the party members and also a shield carrier, so I'm trying to make him a tank, a person who supports the party behind the scenes. I hope you will watch over these characters as they grow while getting caught up in big things."
The anime is based on the comic adaptation of Mizuki Kyo's light novel, which was serialized on "Shosetsuka ni Naro". The story is about Lloyd, a user of extraordinary support magic who believes himself to be normal, who becomes an adventurer and unconsciously becomes invincible. One day, Lloyd, a white mage, is suddenly fired and kicked out of the hero's party, with the explanation "We don't need a white mage who is not skilled enough." However, he meets a party of S-rank adventurers who are looking for a white mage and ends up accompanying them on a quest. The anime is directed by Tamada Hiroshi and produced by Felix Film.
