The first season was directed by Keiichiro Saito , but Yamamoto Yusuke, who was assistant director in the first season, will be the director for the second season. Following the first season, it will be produced by CloverWorks. To commemorate the production of the second season, an illustration drawn by Oda Keimon, the new character designer, was also released.
The additional performance of the live tour " Kessoku Band ZEPP TOUR 2024 "We will"" by the band " Kessoku Band " featured in the drama, " Kessoku Band TOUR "We will B"", was held at the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza Main Arena (Chofu, Tokyo) on February 15th, and the production of the second season was announced. "Bocchi the Rock! " is a music manga that has been serialized since 2018. It depicts the youth of the band " Kessoku Band ," which is made up of Hitori Goto , an extremely introverted high school girl known as "Bocchi-chan." The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2022. Before the TV anime aired, it was not attracting much attention, but its popularity gradually spread, and it was even called "the biggest hit of fall 2022 anime."
With the decision to make a second season, a special web radio program featuring the cast and staff, "Bocchi the Radio! [Special Edition]" will be broadcast at 9pm on February 15th.
