"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a website where Higuchi Sho, the anime buyer at Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, shares best-selling anime songs and real-life opinions from the sales floor. The number one song at the store from December 1st to 7th was "COLD MOON," an EP by voice actress and singer Ai Furihata, commemorating the 5th anniversary of her debut.

Furuhata's top-ranked EP, "COLD MOON," is based on the concepts of "the moon" and "Princess Kaguya." It includes five new songs, including the title track "COLD MOON," produced and arranged by Akimitsu Homma, and is a record that expresses Furuhata's gratitude to his fans as he celebrates his fifth anniversary.
Coming in second place is "Seikoso," the eighth single by MyGO!!!!!, the all-girls band from the popular anime and game franchise BanG Dream!. The title track is a medium-tempo rock tune that showcases a new side of the band. The song is coupled with the ballad "Egaku Mirai," written by Futoshi and Daisuke of the rock band Aqua Timez.
Coming in at No. 8 is the split single "Love Live!," a debut release by the shuffle unit "Ruri & To" and "PRINCEε>ε>" of the Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club, a school idol group featured in the smartphone app "Link! Like! Love Live!", based on the popular anime series "Love Live!". Coming in at No. 9 is "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS Momose Rio," part of the "SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS" project, which sees the release of 52 solo collection CDs of all 52 idols from the popular game "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!" over 52 consecutive weeks.
Coming in at number 10 is the album "JELEE BAG" by the "anonymous" artist "JELEE." "JELEE" is a four-woman group consisting of JELEE, who is in charge of lyrics and vocals, Kurage Yoru, who is in charge of illustrations, Kimura-chan, who is in charge of composition, and Ryugasaki Nox, who is in charge of video editing and arrangement. They use avatars to perform their work and have gained popularity mainly on social media.

He first became interested in anime through 1990s works such as " Neon Genesis Evangelion," "BLUE SEED," and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flames," and among anime songs, he loves listening to character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!" His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm," "The Idolmaster," "Photo Kano," and "Sakura Wars."
