Tonight's UNBOUND:Episode 5: "Taramaru on the ivy vines of karma" Karamaru!? The karmic retribution that entangles him is gradually cornered

The fifth episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama, titled "Tsuta ni Karamaru Inka no Tsuru" (Vines of Influence) will be broadcast on February 2nd. Tsutaju (Yokohama) is disappointed that he was not accepted into the stock company. After that, he is invited by Urokogataya ( Kataoka Ainosuke) to become his official inspector, but he hesitates.

Meanwhile, Tsutaju meets Suharaya (Kotaro Satomi) through Gennai's (Ken Yasuda Kotaro Satomi Watanabe). The man, who knows Karamaru's past, threatens Karamaru and gradually corners him.

Then, at the Nakatsugawa mine, Gennai and his men are verbally abused by investors, and Heichi Tosaku (Kimura Ryo) is taken hostage...

The trailer features the words "Punishment for an intertwining karma" and includes worried voices asking, "What about Karamaru?" and "Dozaemon?"

"UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama, depicting the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have built the foundations of Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, known for "Drama 10 'Ooku'" which was broadcast on NHK two years ago and became a big hit.
