Information has been announced about the merchandise that will be on sale from January 31st at theaters screening the advance theatrical version of "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-," the latest installment in the popular Gundam anime series.
The lineup includes "STRICT-G Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Mascot Cushion Charm Nyaan" (1,320 yen), "STRICT-G Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Handkerchief Machu Knitted Hat Patch" (1,210 yen), "STRICT-G Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Handkerchief Pomeranian's Mark" (1,210 yen), "Prinyu Mascot Haro" (1,760 yen), "Prinyu Mascot Conti" (1,760 yen), and "Prinyu Mascot Lieutenant Strap" (1,760 yen). The products will also be sold in general stores.
"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which produces the "Gundam" series, and khara, known for the "Evangelion" series. The TV anime series was broadcast on Nippon TV, and a pre-release movie version of some episodes was released on January 17th ahead of the broadcast. It has been a hit, grossing 1.43 billion yen and attracting an audience of over 856,000 people.
