A press conference was held for the 22nd installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Kimi to Idol PreCure♪," with Matsuoka Misato, who plays Cure Idol/Sakura Uta, Natsumi Takamori, who plays Cure Ink/Soukaze Nana, and Takamori Natsumi, who plays Cure Kyun Kyun/Shiu Kokoro, appearing. The motif of the 22nd installment is "idols," and the theme is "Because you're here, we can shine and become stronger!" Takamori, who also played the fairy Kome Kome in the 19th installment, "Delicious Party PreCure," said, "I played Kome Kome, and that was still fresh in my mind, so I was shocked! I might not really believe it until I see it on air."
Kokoro Shiu, a first year junior high school student played by Takamori, is good at dancing and has a lot of passion inside her. Her catchphrase is "My heart is pounding!" Her pose transforms into the fan service Cure Kyun Kyun. Her catchphrase is "Dancing with you to the rhythm of my heart! My heart is pounding, my heart is pounding!"
Takamori said about Kokoro, the character she plays, "When I arrived on set thinking she was just the cutest girl, I was told, 'Kokoro is a samurai.' I try not to forget that I'm a samurai, and try to act tough and stoic. The contrast is cute. Some might think she's cute and cunning, but I think you'll end up liking her contrast."
In "You and Idol PreCure♪," the legendary saviors, Idol PreCure, sing, dance, and give "fan service" for "you," the people they love, the people important to them, the people who support them, the people next to them, and the people in front of them, and your presence makes Idol PreCure shine brighter and stronger.
