It has been revealed that Hoshimachi Suisei, a member of the popular VTuber group "HoloLive," and the music unit "NOMELON NOLEMON" will be performing the insert songs for the theatrical pre-release "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-" of the latest installment of the popular anime "Gundam" series, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX." Hoshimachi Suisei's "Mou Dou Naku Ni Iiya" and "NOMELON NOLEMON's" "Midnight Reflection" will be played as insert songs in the film.
Suisei Hoshimachi commented, "I am very honored to be able to sing the insert song for the latest Gundam series...! This song has a fast-paced digital dance sound, so I hope you will come and see it at the theater! Thank you!"
Tsumiki of "MOMELON NOLEMON" said, "This song has the theme of 'space flight.' Both the lyrics and the sound were created with the image of the contrast in scale between the vast universe and the small planet we live on. I am very honored to have had the opportunity to be involved in the latest installment of the long-running Gundam series. I hope you enjoy it with loud sound and a big screen at the theater."
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which is responsible for the Gundam series, and Khara, known for the Evangelion series. Singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu will be performing the theme song, Plazma. The TV anime series was broadcast on Nippon Television, and a pre-broadcast version of some episodes was released on January 17th at 426 theaters, including IMAX screenings.
The story is about the protagonist, high school girl Amate Yuzuriha (Machu), who lives a peaceful life in a space colony floating in space, but after meeting a war refugee girl named Nyaan, she becomes embroiled in an illegal mobile suit duel competition, a clan battle... The protagonist's robot, GQuuuuuuX, is a mysterious state-of-the-art mobile suit piloted by Amate Yuzuriha, and participates in the clan battle.
Kazuya Tsurumaki will be the director, Yoji Enokido will be the series composer, and Ikuto Yamashita will be the mechanical designer. Tomoyo Kurosawa will play Amate Yuzuriha, Yui Ishikawa will play Nyaan, a girl who works as an illegal courier, and Shimba Tsuchiya will play Shuuji Ito, a mysterious boy who appears before Machu and Nyaan.
