Actor Kotaro Satomi Satomi will be appearing on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on January 13th.
Last year, he celebrated his 88th birthday. He comes from a long family of longevity, with his mother and grandmother having lived long lives, and his 93-year-old brother still living in his hometown. When he was 10 months old, his father died in the war at the young age of 34. Although he has no memory of his father, he reveals some untold stories about him that he heard from his mother.
Her hobbies include golf, piano, and watercolor painting, and she is also good at cooking. She frequently goes shopping at a nearby supermarket, and even though she was disguised with a mask, the store clerk would call out to her, "Satomi-san!"
