It has been revealed that Fuji TV announcer Inoue Seika will be trying her hand at acting in the "Music Matching" segment of the three-hour special of the music variety show "Music Generation" (Fuji TV), which will air from 7 p.m. on January 9th. This will be Inoue's first time acting since appearing as herself in the short drama "Meguru.", which aired on "Mezamashi TV" in 2021.
Looking back on the filming, Inoue commented, "I felt sorry because all the actors are active in dramas as well (laughs). I was feeling really excited when I headed to the set, but when I got there I suddenly got nervous...However, everyone welcomed me so warmly that I was able to enjoy acting."
Co-starring with her in the role of the younger sister, Kokoro Suzuki, is a current student at her alma mater, Aoyama Gakuin University, and is a junior colleague of Inoue. "I felt a sense of closeness with her, and even during rehearsals, people told me we were like real sisters (laughs)," she revealed.
During the recording, the MCs, the comedy duo "Samaazu," commented, "Your acting is great!" She said, "I was praised for it, but I think I was able to act as I was because everyone (who I co-starred with) treated me naturally, like family or an older sister."
