Actor Nagisa Sekimizu appeared with co-star Fujiwara Norika at a press conference for the TV Tokyo drama series "Housekeeper Kuromi Will Not Forgive a Rotten Family" (starting on the 10th, Friday midnight 12:12) held in Tokyo on January 8th. Sekimizu, who plays the lead role, commented, "Everyone in this group is cheerful, and filming is so much fun every day," and revealed his impression of Fujiwara, saying, "Above all, Norika is so playful. She's so natural..."
Sekimizu shared an episode from filming with Fujiwara, saying with a smile, "We were talking yesterday and Norika said she could do an imitation of Pikachu (laughs). When I called out "Pikachu" she did it and was really good." At the press conference, Sekimizu imitated "Satoshi" shouting "Go, Pikachu! Thunderbolt!", and Fujiwara responded with "Pikka!" imitating "Pikka!", livening up the conference.
At the press conference, there was a segment where participants were asked to show off their calligraphy, in which they expressed their "goals for this year" in a single kanji character. Sekimizu showed off the calligraphy of "Congratulations" and said with a smile, "I hope that this year will be full of happy events, and when (a drama) has good ratings or is popular, people write 'Congratulations something', right? I hope there will be lots of those."
On the other hand, Fujiwara, who wrote the old character "yo", reflected, "This is a personal matter, but a lot happened last year. During those times, I received kindness, love, and concern from people...I feel like I was given a lot of love, including from my fans." She expressed her aspirations, "In the second stage of my entertainment career, I would like to give all of you who support me on a regular basis happiness, excitement, thrills, and other exciting things...as a small part of the entertainment world."
The drama is a chilling family panic horror in which Kuromi Kiyoka, a housekeeper with a secret, uses every means possible to pursue the "ideal family." The story is based on the digital manga of the same name currently being serialized by Kizuki Akira and Sato Nanki, who also created the hit "Extreme Couple," which depicts the limits of a marriage. Kuromi Kiyoka, a housekeeper who ends up working for the problematic Haibara family, aims to create the "ideal family." However, the means she uses to achieve this are dangerous and go beyond common sense and ethics. Fujiwara plays Haibara Midori, a talented company president with zero housekeeping skills who pursues beauty. Takahashi Mitsuomi and Okuma Anyu also attended the press conference.
