The 67th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto Hashimoto (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00am and others) was broadcast on January 7th. In the episode, Yui's (Hashimoto) classmates from her days in nutrition college, "Satchin" Sachi (Yamamoto Maika), "Kasumin" Kasumi (Taira Yuna), and "Morimori" Morikawa (Kote Shinya) made a reappearance, drawing the attention of viewers.
In the 67th episode, Yui receives an email from Kasumin asking, "Do you want to go out for dinner this Sunday?" and the four members of J-group decide to go to a familiar Chinese restaurant, "Taikyoken." Yui smiles and says, "It's been a long time! I'm so happy!"
As the four of them update each other on their recent situations, Sacchin mentions that she read in the newspaper that Shoya (Sano Hayato) injured his shoulder. Yui explains that Shoya has given up on baseball and is now looking forward. Sacchin, who was once a promising track and field athlete, also had his own experience of being unable to continue with track and field due to an injury, and advised him, "Even if he says that, I don't think he'll be able to look forward that easily," and "Please keep an eye on him without getting impatient."
Afterwards, as the four of them were walking out of the store, Kasumin revealed to Yui, "It was Satchin who suggested today's meeting." Morimori continued, "He didn't tell us, but he probably thought Yoneda-san was feeling down because of Shoya Yotsugi." When Yui thanked him, "Satchin! Thank you!", Satchin replied without saying anything with a "gal peace sign."
Comments on social media included, "Squad J is the best!", "It's so touching," "Just like Fullmetal Alchemist, Yui's friends who appear when she's feeling down are all gals," "Yui is so lucky to have so many good friends," and "Sachiko is just too cute when she smiles and gives the gal peace sign."
