Mashin Genesis Wataru:New "Wataru" anime aimed at the "new generation" Wataru is a "RyuTuber" and has a huge buzzworthy adventure!

A new TV anime series based on the popular anime series "Mashin Hero Wataru," "Mashin Genesis Wataru," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo every Sunday at 5:30 pm starting January 12th. "Mashin Genesis Wataru" is said to be a "Wataru" series aimed at a "new generation," and the main character, Hoshibe Wataru, a fourth-grade elementary school student, appears as a YouTuber aiming to become a superstar. Together with his partner Ryujinmaru, Wataru embarks on a "big buzz" adventure and battle in Chubukai, a parallel world of floating blocks.

In episode 1, "The Savior is RyuTuber - Hoshibe Wataru Has Arrived!", one day while Hoshibe Wataru is preparing to stream a video with his cousin Amabe Kakeru, someone calls his name and he ends up getting lost in another world, Sorabe. In Sorabe, Wataru meets the swordsman Mifurayin and the popular VTuber Maro, who welcome Wataru as the savior who will save Sorabe. After hearing that "a ridiculous guy called the Old Man Channel is causing trouble for people," Wataru and his friends decide to head to "Subscribe to the Channel Island."

The film will feature Mutsumi Tamura as Wataru, Tomokazu Sugita as Ryujinmaru, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kakeru Amabe, Katsuyuki Konishi as Mifurayin, Megu Umezawa as Maro, and Rie Kugimiya as Ryuryun. It will be directed by Yumi Kamakura and produced by Bandai Namco Pictures.
