B'z:First appearance at the Red and White Song Battle, the audience went wild with the surprise performance of "LOVE PHANTOM" and "ultra soul"

The rock unit "B'z" appeared on the "75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen" (General TV and others) broadcast on December 31st. They performed "Illumination", the theme song for the currently airing TV drama "Omusubi ".

Before B'z's first appearance as part of a special project, Sano Hayato, who plays Shoya, the boyfriend of Yui played by Kanna Hashimoto in " Omusubi ," Naka Riisa, who plays her older sister Ayumi, Riisa Naka, who plays her mother Aiko, and Kitamura Yukiya, who plays her father Masato, appeared on the show.

After singing "Illumination," the two members of B'z started walking, and the word "B'z" appeared on the stage of the NHK Hall. Then the two appeared on the stage where the audience was waiting, and sang "LOVE PHANTOM" and "Ultra Soul." The entire audience stood up, and the host, Mr. Hashimoto, was thrilled, saying, "This is too good. What a surprise."

The 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen will be broadcast on December 31st from 7:20pm to 11:45pm (with some news breaks) under the theme of "Songs for You". The show will be hosted by Hiroiki Ariyoshi, Hashimoto, Sari Ito, and NHK announcer Naoko Suzuki.
