The 11th episode of the TV anime " The Blue Wolves of Mibu ," based on the manga about the Shinsengumi by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, who is also known for the soccer manga "DAYS," titled "True Strength," will be broadcast on the Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV network at 5:30 pm on December 28th.
Miburo is tasked with protecting Shogun Tokugawa Iemochi, also known as Kikuchiyo, from assassins and delivering him to Nijo Castle. They split into three groups and carry out a decoy operation, buying time for Nio and the others to reach the castle. Fleeing from Naozumi, Nio and Kikuchiyo finally meet up with Kikuchiyo's subordinates near Nijo Castle, but they are slashed by Naozumi who chases them. Naozumi approaches and says, "I'll take your head, Iemochi," and Nio calls out to Kikuchiyo to run away, but Kikuchiyo asks Naozumi, "Why are you doing this?"
" The Blue Wolves of Mibu" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2021. Set in Kyoto at the end of the Edo period, it depicts the life of the Shinsengumi . The anime will be directed by Kumiko Habara , who has worked on " I'm Standing on a Million Lives ," and produced by MAHO FILM.
