Actor Katsumura Masanobu will be appearing on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on December 5th.
He turned 60 last year. He has many friends, and each of them celebrated his 60th birthday with a party, so more than 200 people came to celebrate with him. He has been playing soccer since junior high school, and participates in practice two or three times a week. Looking at the photo of him floating in the air trying to score a goal, Kuroyanagi exclaimed, "Amazing!"
Both of her parents are around 90 years old, and she says they are surprisingly healthy. She recalls that her parents worked late into the night at a long-established tsukudani (fried fish and vegetables) restaurant in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, run by a relative, so she started cooking for herself from junior high school. Using their cooking skills, she makes lunch for her 28-year-old daughter in the morning and drives her to work. She says that the 15 minutes of casual conversation they have every morning feels like a luxury.
