On November 26th, it was revealed that talent Nozomi Sasaki will star in the TBS drama series "I'll Take You to the End of Hell," which will begin airing on January 14th, 2025. This will be Sasaki's first time starring in a TBS drama. She will play the main character, Sachiko Tachibana, who has plastic surgery to get revenge on the woman who killed her family. It was also announced that Nagisa Shibuya will appear as Reina Hanai, the "monster woman" who becomes Sachiko's enemy.
The drama is a thrilling tale of revenge swirling with love and hate between two women. Reina was Sachiko's only ally in high school, when she was mocked as the "murderer's daughter." However, behind Reina's angelic, gentle smile, lurked the face of a murderer who could easily kill someone. Reina framed Sachiko and her father for murder and took the life of Sachiko's father. 14 years later, Sachiko, whose face and past have all changed, once again confronts Reina, who is now a new mother. "I'll make her experience hell," Sachiko tells Reina as she enters her home as a babysitter, but...
Sasaki says, "It's a role I've never played before, and the script is so thrilling, with no idea what will happen until the very end, that I found it very rewarding, so I accepted the offer."
She also revealed, "The character I play, Tachibana Sachiko, is the one who seeks revenge, but she is also weak-minded and is not suited to revenge as she is manipulated by everyone. I was able to empathize with Sachiko's human heart," and added, "To prepare for the role, I tried to remember memories of times when I had unpleasant experiences in my life. I also had rehearsals before filming, so I was able to gradually refine the details. Also, since the character is someone who aspires to be a pianist, I am also practicing piano on my own! Sachiko has an accomplice, but I hope you will enjoy the mystery of who that accomplice is, and support her until the end to see if she will be able to achieve her revenge."
Meanwhile, Shibuya commented, "I am very excited to play a role that is not in my image of myself until now, as it is a role that is a 'strong enemy who is taken revenge on'. I think that many people who are taken revenge on are strong, but Reina is always smiling and warm-hearted and loved by those around her, but at heart she is completely dark, which I thought made for a novel revenge story.
