The winners of the 66th Japan Record Awards (TBS), sponsored by the Japan Composer's Association, were announced on November 21st, with the "Excellent Work Award" nominees including "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" by hip-hop unit Creepy Nuts, "I wonder" by dance and vocal group Da-iCE, and "Masterplan" by boy band BE:FIRST.
Other nominees for the "Excellent Work Award" included "Lilac" by rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, "Ikuoku Kounen" by Omoinotake, "Supernatural" by NewJeans, "NEW KAWAII" by FRUITS ZIPPER, "Love seeker" by JO1, "Yumemita Kajitsu" by Junretsu, and "Kurenai no Cho" by Keisuke Yamauchi.
The nominees for the "Newcomer Award," which is also a contender for the "Best Newcomer Award," were five-member girl group ILLIT, girl group ME:I, Umeya Kokoa, Kocchino Kento, and Koyama Yudai.
The 65th Japan Record Awards will be broadcast live for four and a half hours from 5:30 pm to 10 pm on December 30th.
