A teaser visual featuring Kaneki Ken, the main character of the Tokyo Ghoul FES.-PLAY BACK- event for the Tokyo Ghoul TV anime series, based on Ishida Sui's popular manga, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has been released. In addition to the previously announced appearances of Hanae Natsuki as Kaneki Ken, Amamiya Sora as Kirishima Touka, and Hanazawa Kana as Kamishiro Rize, it has also been announced that Kugimiya Rie as Suzuya Juuzou and Kishio Daisuke as Juuta Nifuku will also be appearing.
The event will be held on June 8, 2025 at Tachikawa Stage Garden (Tachikawa, Tokyo) as a one-day event to mark the finale of Tokyo Ghoul's 10th anniversary year. There will be live dubbing by voice actors and special live performances by artists. There will be two sessions, a day session and an evening session.
Tokyo Ghoul is a popular manga that centers around ghouls, monsters who eat human flesh. "Tokyo Ghoul" was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) from 2011 to 2014, and a new chapter "Tokyo Ghoul:re" was published from 2014 to 2018. The comic series has sold over 47 million copies worldwide.
The TV anime "Tokyo Ghoul" aired from July to September 2014, "Tokyo Ghoul √A" from January to March 2015, and the first season of "Tokyo Ghoul:re" aired from April to June 2018, and the second season from October to December of the same year.
