Yagi is upset by Ranko's words in the Asadora" Anpan"

The 107th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and other times), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on August 26th, and viewers were drawn to the interaction between Ranko ( Yuumi Kawai) and Yagi (Satoshi Tsumabuki).

Ranko says, "I'm happy that my brother-in-law's work is selling, so please feel free to contact me again anytime," and turns to leave, but when she sees a picture that Taka has drawn of Yagi and the children, she asks, "Do you always hug the children like that when you give them presents?"

Yagi replied, "Yes. What children need to survive in this world is, first and foremost, nutritious food, a place to live, and then music, stories, and poetry." Ranko agreed, "Mental nourishment. If they have that, they can get through difficult times," to which Yagi added, "Another thing they need is... human warmth. Those children don't know the warmth that is given unconditionally by their parents."

When Ranko said, "Yagi-san, you've embraced hundreds of children so far," Yagi replied, "I guess that's how it is." Ranko couldn't help but blurt out, "Someone...someone who will embrace you like that Yagi-san..." Yagi stared at Ranko, unable to hide his agitation, and said, "No...I..." Ranko looked uncomfortable and said, "Sorry for asking such a strange question," as she left the office.

After leaving the office, Ranko stood frozen in front of the door for a while, unable to move. Yagi also stood frozen, seemingly thinking about something.
