Takarajimasha's guidebook "This Mystery is Amazing! (KonoMisu) 2025 Edition," which announces the most popular mysteries of the year, will be released on December 6th. It has been revealed that the popular manga "Oshi no Ko" by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, which concluded its run in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) on November 14th, will be featured on the cover.

To commemorate the conclusion of "Oshi no Ko," which has a strong mystery element, the issue features an interview with Akasaka. Akasaka talks about "Oshi no Ko," as well as revealing his mystery journey and the rules he follows when creating his works. There will also be a feature titled "Mystery Writers and 'Oshi no Ko'," in which Kyoya Orimo, Yuto Ichikawa, and Manabu Kaminaga talk about their love for "Oshi no Ko."

There will also be a "Mystery x Games" special to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the popular sound novel "Kamaitachi no Yoru." It features an interview with Takemaru Abiko, the scenario writer for "Kamaitachi no Yoru," and a column tracing the history of the series. In addition to an interview with Kinoko Nasu, a scenario writer known for the popular "Fate" series of games and anime, the magazine also features a feature in which Shu Takumi, who worked on "Ace Attorney," Ryukishi07, who worked on "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni," and Kazutaka Kodaka, who worked on "Danganronpa," talk about their memories as players and the fun they find as creators.

The magazine also features the top 20 domestic and international mystery novels for 2024 selected by 66 popular authors, a conversation between Mizuki Tsujimura and Kanae Minato, and a conversation between Hidesuke Michio and Takao Kato.

"Kono Mystery ga Sugoi!" is a mystery novel guidebook that has been on sale since 1988. Every year, it surveys authors, book critics, writers, and other experts about "the most interesting mystery novels of the year," and publishes the results in the form of a ranking.
