An uncut video of the Voltes V combination scene from the film "Voltes V Legacy," a live-action adaptation made in the Philippines of "Voltes V: Super Electromagnetic Machine," a robot anime popular mainly in the 1970s, has been released on YouTube.

The combination scene begins with the five pilots pressing a button shouting, "Let's Voltes in!", and then shows the inside of the cockpit and the entire Voltes Machine transforming, and the five machines connecting together, while "Voltes V Song" sung by Filipino singer Julie Ann San Jose plays. Not only has the original anime been faithfully reproduced, but the mecha are expressed with high-quality CG, giving it a new "combination scene."

Illustrations and comments of support from creators Kia Asamiya, Shoji Gato, Tsukasa Kotobuki, Masayuki Goto, and Hidetaka Tenjin have also been released. Iria Oshima, Kazuhiro Ochi, Shark Movie Rookie, JNTHED, Masato Hayase, Junichi Fujisaki, and Naochika Morishita also contributed illustrations and comments of support.

"Voltes V Legacy" is a "Chodenji edited version" that adds scenes that were not included in the Philippine version of the film "Voltes V Legacy" and is re-edited. The live-action version was produced by GMA Network, a terrestrial television station in the Philippines. A film and a 90-episode TV series were produced. All episodes of the TV series were broadcast in the Philippines in 2023. "Voltes V Legacy" will be released on October 18th. The "Chodenji Respect TV Version", which has been re-edited from the 90-episode TV series to 20 episodes, will be broadcast on TOKYO MX every Tuesday at 8pm from November 12th.

"Chodenji Machine Voltes V" is a legendary robot anime that was broadcast in Japan from 1977 to 1978. The story depicts the five characters, the protagonist Kenichi, the brothers Gozo, Mine Ippei, and Oka Megumi, piloting the combined robot, the Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V, and fighting against the invading forces of the planet Boazan, led by Prince Heinel, who has flown to Earth. The story depicts the separation of parents and children, shocking developments surrounding the protagonist, confrontations with his half-brother, resistance to oppression and revolution, and has been highly praised overseas for its high level of drama. It also became a hot topic in the Philippines, where the song "Voltes V no Uta" sung by Horie Mitsuko was also popular.
