The Hokkaido preview of "W Serial Drama Golden Kamuy - Hokkaido Tattooed Prisoner Battle Arc" (WOWOW), which will begin airing and streaming on October 6th, was held on October 4th at "TOHO Cinemas Susukino" (Chuo Ward, Sapporo), with Yamada Anna, who plays Asirpa, and Tamaki Hiroshi, who plays Lieutenant Tsurumi, taking to the stage.
When asked about their impressions of each other, Yamada commented, "I didn't get to see him much during filming, but when I met him for the first time, I saw Tamaki in Lieutenant Tsurumi's costume and makeup, and I still vividly remember thinking, 'Ah, it's Lieutenant Tsurumi!' I could feel the charisma of Lieutenant Tsurumi, and as a Golden Kamuy fan, I'm glad it was Tamaki!"
Regarding his impression of Yamada, Tamaki said, "When I greeted him on the set, my impression was that he was Asirpa. We didn't have many opportunities to work together in the series, but when I saw the finished version, I was really moved by the slow-motion shot of Asirpa firing the arrow, taken with a high-speed camera. It was convincing, and I felt the strength in her clear eyes."
When asked about the highlights of the drama, Yamada mentioned her relationship with her father Acha, played by Iura Arata, and the deepening bond with Sugimoto, played by Yamazaki Kento, and the others. Tamaki, referring to an episode in which the original author Noda Satoru visited the set and talked to Tamaki, who was only wearing a coat on the upper half of his body, said, "The highlight is seeing Tsurumi naked with a coat on," drawing laughter from the audience.
