A spin-off of the NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8am, etc.), starring Akari Takaishi , which aired its final episode on March 27, will begin on March 30. Over four consecutive nights, the spin-off will feature two episodes each, divided into two parts, focusing on Toki's (Takaishi) friend Sawa ( Wan Marui) and Ume (Maru Nouchi), a maid at the Hanada Inn.
"Bakebake" is based on the lives of Setsu Koizumi, the daughter of a fallen samurai family in Matsue, and her husband, Lafcadio Hearn). It depicts the story of a heroine who loves ghost stories and lives an ordinary life with her foreign husband.
The spin-off tells the untold stories of the people surrounding Toki and Heaven (Tommy Bastow), stories not depicted in the main series. Interviews with the cast and special talks will also be broadcast.
On March 30th, the first part of the spin-off drama "Osawa, Suitchon," which depicts Sawa and Shoda (Shogo Hama) after Toki and Heaven go to Kumamoto, and a special interview with Takaishi will be broadcast. On the 31st, the second part of "Osawa, Suitchon" and an interview with Bastou will be broadcast.
On April 1st and 2nd, the spin-off drama "Oume-san, Okami, Shimasu." starring Ume will be broadcast in two parts, along with a special talk featuring Marui-san, Hama-san, and Nouchi-san, who are central figures in the spin-off.
The spin-off will air on NHK General from March 30th to April 2nd at 11 PM.

Sawa finally becomes a full-fledged teacher and leaves the tenement house. However, she struggles with how to interact with the children. It is Shoda who reaches out to Sawa.
