Shinjuku Anime Song Scope:Nijisanji's Akina Saegusa's first mini album tops the charts; three works from the "Gakumasu" first single series rank in

In "Shinjuku Anime Song Scope," anime buyer Higuchi Sho of Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its wide selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and the voices of those at the sales floor. The number one song at the store from September 22nd to 29th was the first mini album "UniVerse" by Saegusa Akina, a VTuber and member of the virtual live streamer group Nijisanji.

◇Last week's results

Saegusa Akina is a college student and virtual live streamer who is part of Nijisanji. She has gained popularity, with her YouTube channel subscribers exceeding 670,000. Her first mini album "UniVerse" contains seven songs by popular creators Chinozo, Hainomi, r-906, Kujira, Usami Hiroshi, Horie Shota, and Kuriyama Yuri.

In second, sixth, and eighth place were the three first singles from the completely new smartphone app "Gakuen Idolmaster (Gakumasu)," part of the popular "Idolmaster (Imasu)" series, which also includes games. Shinozawa Hiroshi's "Shinozawa Hiro 1st Single 'Keiketsu'" came in second, Shiun Seika's "Shiun Seika 1st Single 'Tame-Lie-One-Step'" came in sixth, and Arimura Mao's "Arimura Mao 1st Single 'Fluorite'" came in eighth.

In third place was "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION MOVEMENT OF STARDOM ROAD 03 Hypernova," from the CD series for the game "Idolmaster Million Live! Theater Days (Mirishita)," and in fifth place was "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS Song for Prism After Run/mellow mellow," from the CD series for the game "Idolmaster Shiny Colors Song for Prism (Shanison)."

In seventh place is the mini-album "Dokodemo Kimi wa Kimi," the theme song for the first chapter of the new anime film "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club: Final Chapter," part of a trilogy based on the popular anime series "Love Live!".

She first became interested in anime through 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion," "BLUE SEED," and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flame," and among anime songs, she loves listening to character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. Her favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!" Her favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm," "The Idolmaster," "Photo Kano," and "Sakura Wars."
