The first episode of the spin-off "Osawa, Suitchon." (Part 1) of the NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), starring Akari Takaishi , aired on March 30th, and viewers were captivated by the energetic appearance of Nishikiori ( Ryo Yoshizawa).
It was the spring of 1892, a little while after Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven (Tommy Bastow) had moved to Kumamoto. Sawa (Wan Marui Wan), who had finally become a regular teacher, was about to leave the tenement and move to the other side of the river, which she had always wanted. Her mother, Kinu (Kawai Aoba), said, "If only I could see you in your wedding dress, I would have no regrets," but Sawa replied, "I'm not getting married!"
One day, Shoda (played by Shogo Hama) comes to Sawa, who is studying at the Shiratori Club. Shoda congratulates Sawa on becoming a full-fledged teacher and gives her a book as a gift to celebrate her success. Shoda says, "You told me before, didn't you? That you wanted to become a full-fledged teacher so you could get out of the tenement. I was a little worried about you. I wondered if you would be able to continue teaching once you left the tenement," and Sawa is irritated by Shoda's casual remarks.
After meeting with Nishikori, Sawa confided her troubles, saying, "There's a teacher I really respect. It's fun talking to him, and I want to learn a lot from him, but gradually...it's starting to make me feel frustrated. It's like he's showing me the difference between us..." "When I listen to him talk...I just want to say, 'Shut up!'"
When Nishikori replied, "That's so like you, Sawa-san...", Sawa said, "I hope we can talk naturally someday." Nishikori muttered, "Even if you take it easy and think 'we'll talk someday,' that 'someday' might never come. I hope something will happen..."
On social media, comments included: "I'm so happy to see Nishikori looking healthy again," "Just seeing Nishikori looking healthy brings tears to my eyes," "I'm overjoyed to see Nishikori looking healthy," "I'm surprised he's become close enough to Osawa to go for tea together," "He must have been spending his time slowly and peacefully," "Nishikori is still interested in Heaven, isn't he?", and "Is Nishikori playing Cupid?"
