It has been announced that a paper craft "Chodenji Paper Craft Voltes V" will be given away as a gift to visitors to the film "Voltes V Legacy," a live-action version of the popular robot anime "Chodenji Machine Voltes V" made in the Philippines, from the release date of October 18th. The paper craft has many movable parts, and can be posed in various ways, such as standing upright, holding the Tenkuuken sword, and swinging it up. It also comes with a replacement part for the chest.

A special video explaining "Voltes V Legacy," "Understanding Voltes V Legacy in just over a minute," has been released on YouTube. It has also been announced that a stage greeting on the opening day, featuring voice actors from the Japanese dub version including Kobayashi Chiaki, will be held at Shinjuku Wald 9 (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).

"Voltes V Legacy" is a "Chodenji edited version" that has been re-edited to add scenes that were not included in the Philippine version of the film "Voltes V Legacy." The live-action version was produced by Philippine terrestrial television station GMA Network. A film and a 90-episode TV series were produced. The entire TV series was broadcast in the Philippines in 2023. The "Choudenji Respect TV Version," a re-edited version of the 90-episode TV series into 20 episodes, will be broadcast on TOKYO MX every Tuesday at 8 p.m. starting November 12.

"Choudenji Machine Voltes V" is a legendary robot anime that aired in Japan from 1977 to 1978. The story depicts the protagonist Kenichi, the brothers Gozo, Ippei Mine, and Megumi Oka piloting the combined robot, the Chodenji Machine Voltes V, and fighting the invading army of the planet Boazan led by Prince Heinel, who has come to Earth. The film depicts the separation of parents and children, shocking developments surrounding the protagonist, confrontations with half-brothers, resistance to oppression and revolution, and was highly praised overseas for its high drama. It also became a hot topic in the Philippines, and the song "Voltes V Song" sung by Horie Mitsuko also became popular.
