To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast of "Gundam Reconguista in G (G-Reco)," a popular anime series from the Gundam series, a screening event called "Reconguista in G 10th Anniversary Event - This is Our Reconguista!" will be held on November 16th at Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku, Tokyo). The event will screen all five movies, and will last about nine and a half hours including stage greetings. To commemorate the 10th anniversary, an illustration drawn by character designer Kenichi Yoshida was also released. The illustration features characters such as the protagonist Bellri Zenam, Aida Surugan, and Noredo Nag.

It was also announced that a Gunpla (plastic model) of the G-Self (Perfect Pack equipped type) that appears in the movie version, "HG 1/144 Gundam Base Limited G-Self (Perfect Pack equipped type) [Movie Reconguista in G Ver.]" (Bandai Spirits), will be released on October 26th. This limited edition product is available at Gundam Base, a comprehensive Gunpla facility, and it is a 3D model of the G-Self equipped with the ultimate backpack. The head, chest, shoulders, and joints are newly sculpted, and the impressive "eyes" can be recreated with stickers. The price is 3,850 yen.

It has also been revealed that a G-Self (Perfect Pack) figure will be released as "METAL ROBOT Spirits G-Self (Perfect Pack)" from the "METAL ROBOT Spirits" (same company) series. Details will be announced in the future.

The TV anime version of "G-Reco" was broadcast from October 2014 to March 2015 as one of the works commemorating the 35th anniversary of the birth of "Mobile Suit Gundam". It has been about 15 years since Director Yoshiyuki Tomino worked on a "Gundam" TV anime series, since "Turn A Gundam".

The story depicts the adventures of Bellri Zenam, a Capital Guard candidate who protects the Capital Tower, which brings the Earth's energy source from space. A five-part film series, which added new scenes to the 26 episodes of the TV anime, was released in theaters from 2019 to 2022.
