It has been announced that the animated film "Expelled from Paradise," which was released in November 2014, will be shown again from November 15th to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its release. To coincide with the revival screening, the entire film has been upconverted to 4K. The screening will only be for two weeks.
"Expelled from Paradise" is an original anime set in a world where most of humanity lives in the cyber world of Diva, and depicts investigator Angela investigating the purpose of a mysterious hacking incident. It is directed by Seiji Mizushima, who has worked on "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," and the screenplay is by Gen Urobuchi, who has worked on "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" and "Fate/Zero."
It has also been announced that a completely new animated film sequel, "Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart," will be produced.
