"Chiikawa Suihanki," a toy modeled after the rice cooker from Nagano's popular manga "Chiikawa," will be included as an attachment in the November/December/January issue of the children's magazine "Otomodachi" (Kodansha), due to go on sale on September 27th.
The toy is modeled after a rice cooker and features designs of Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi. It comes with a "Chiikawa Rice Cooker" modeled after Chiikawa's face, three types of "rice" parts - furikake, fried rice, and chicken rice - and a bowl.
The same issue also comes with a "Rice Cooker Play Set," a collaboration with Marumiya. You can play by sprinkling nori tamago (seaweed flakes), salmon furikake, curry, and hayashi on the "rice."
The price is 1,650 yen.
