It has been announced that Hinata Natsu, known for the popular light novel "The Apothecary Diaries," which has also become a popular TV anime, will be a lecturer for a special course at the NHK Culture Center's cultural service "NHK Culture." This will be the first time in about two years that Hinata Natsu's special course will be held, and it will be titled "Ask Hinata Natsu, the Author of 'The Apothecary Diaries', Behind the Scenes of Creation," and will take place from 5:00 pm on October 12th. In addition to talking about the appeal of "The Apothecary Diaries" and the secrets behind its creation, there will also be a Q&A corner. Hinata Natsu will appear as her 2D avatar, Uririn.

The venue is fully booked, but online participation is currently being accepted. The online course will include a catch-up stream for two weeks starting three days after the course ends. The online course costs 3,850 yen. There will also be a campaign in which 10 people will be chosen by lottery to receive a signed color paper by Hinata Natsu with their name written on it.

The story of "The Apothecary Diaries" is set in the glamorous harem of a certain continent, and follows the poison taster girl Maomao, who gets caught up in an incident that takes place in the harem, full of conspiracies and rumors, together with the handsome eunuch Jinshi. It began publication in 2014 by Hero Bunko (Imagine Info), and 15 volumes have been released so far. The comic book adaptations published by Square Enix and Shogakukan have also become popular. The series has sold over 38 million copies in total.

The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon TV from October 2023 to March 2024. It has also been announced that the second season will be produced and air in 2025.
