Actor Shinobu Sakagami's variety show, "Sakagami Animal Kingdom" (Fuji TV, Fridays at 7 PM), will air a two-hour special on March 27th, featuring the first-ever public reveal of the home where Ryoichi Tsukada of the popular group "ABC-Z" lives with his three rescue dogs.
The program will launch a new segment featuring an exclusive look at Ms. Tsukada. Ms. Tsukada, who had a dog at her family home when she was little, started keeping a beagle named Win in 2020, six years ago, and is now a dog lover living with three rescue dogs. Win was originally a retired breeding dog taken in by a rescue organization, and Ms. Tsukada welcomed him into her home.
Ms. Tsukada said that she never considered buying a dog from a pet shop, and she welcomed Fan and Runrun, who were also retired breeding dogs, into her home, starting a life with three dogs: two large breeds and one medium-sized dog.
Tsukada showered the three cats with boundless love, but then a bone sarcoma was discovered in Runrun's right hind leg. After much deliberation, Tsukada decided to amputate the leg, asking Runrun, "Do you trust the decision I've made?" before proceeding with the surgery. And then, after Runrun survived the operation, they were reunited in tears.
On this day, Ren Nagase from "King & Prince" appeared as a studio guest. Along with regular member Kaito Takahashi, he watched over the daily life of Tsukada and his three dogs.
When asked about his future prospects, Tsukada commented, "To be honest, I don't know. I hope that dogs all over the world can be happy, but there is only so much I can do... What I can do right now is to be the best professional for Win, Fun, and Runrun. Of course, qualifications and experience are important, but when it comes to these three, I want to be their biggest supporter and create many more memories with them in the future."
