To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the broadcast of the popular anime "Space Battleship Yamato," Star Channel will begin a "Space Battleship Yamato 50th Anniversary Special" in October. A three-hour special program including "Space Battleship Yamato 4K Remastered Movie," which was released in theaters last December, will be broadcast on October 13th at 5:30 pm as "Space Battleship Yamato 50th Anniversary Special Program." It will also be broadcast simultaneously on BSJapanext. This will be the first time that the "4K Remastered Movie" will be broadcast for free on television.
Entertainment fans of "Space Battleship Yamato" will appear as guests in the special program. They are asking for comments on social media such as "Who is your favorite character from the Space Battleship Yamato series?" and "What is your favorite scene from the Space Battleship Yamato series?"
