The novel "Dokidoki! Precure Novel" (Kodansha), based on the 10th installment of the popular anime series "Precure," "Dokidoki! Precure," will be released on September 17th. It is a completely new novel that continues the story of the final episode of the TV anime, and introduces a new Precure.
The novel will be published about 10 years after the series ended in January 2014. It will be written by Yamaguchi Ryota, who was in charge of the series' composition, and the illustrations will be done by Takahashi Akira, who was in charge of character design. In addition to the new Precure, original characters will appear one after another, and the "remaining mysteries" will also be solved.
"Dokidoki! Precure" is based on the theme of "love" and "excitement born from love!", and the story follows Aida Mana and others as they transform into Precure with the help of a fairy who is an emissary of Princess Anne of the Trump Kingdom, and fight against the Jikochu who are plotting to invade the Earth. It aired from February 2013 to January 2014.
