Forensic Science Girl Season 24：Tonight's final episode features guest Kasumi Yamatani, who is also a hot topic in "The Beginning of the Sea," and Fuku Suzuki, who will also be making a return appearance.

The final episode (episode 10) of the popular mystery drama "Kasouken no Onna Season 24" (TV Asahi, Wednesday 9pm) starring Sawaguchi Yasuko will be broadcast on September 11th. Yamatani Kasumi, who is currently appearing in the popular "Umi no Hajimari" (Fuji TV, Monday 9pm), will make a guest appearance. She will play Fukuhara Kaede, a member of the family of a crime victim who becomes a "murder suspect". Following on from the first special of this season, Suzuki Fuku will also appear as young police officer Shinkai Sota. Kaede and Sota are childhood friends.

In the final episode, an incident occurs in which Kimoto Yoshiharu, who committed a fatal injury case 11 years ago, is murdered and made to look like a suicide. Kaede, whose father was driven to death by Kimoto 11 years ago, comes under scrutiny.

Mariko (Sawaguchi) and Domon (Naito Takashi), who are investigating the case, are contacted by Souta, a police officer at Kujo Police Station whom they met a few months ago during a random killing incident. Souta, who believes in the innocence of his childhood friend Kaede, asks them to tell him how close the investigation headquarters is to the truth. However, immediately afterwards, Kaede suddenly confesses to the crime.

Still, Souta, wanting to help Kaede, appeals to the Kyoto Prefectural Police Crime Science Laboratory to prove Kaede's innocence, but Mariko maintains her position as a scientist, saying, "We can never make an appraisal that favors someone" and "We cannot bring emotion into appraisals," to which Souta retorts, "Science is cold-hearted, isn't it?"... And so the story unfolds.

Can science appraise the human heart, and can it save people's hearts? This provides an answer to a question that "Kasoken no Onna" has been asking since the series began in 1999.
