NHK's science documentary program "Dark Side Mysteries" will air "Welcome! Hell Wonderland: Everything about Mankind's Most Terrifying World" on NHK BS from 9:00 PM on March 13th. The theme is "Hell." The program explores the depths and unknown charms of Hell, where all of human sins and society, such as love, desire, jealousy, and betrayal, are reflected.
"Where do people go when they die?" To answer that question, this program will provide a thorough explanation of hell in Japan and the West. Was hell the ultimate wonderland of screaming and suffering, a crystallization of the imagination of people in the past who thought, "I don't want this to happen!"? We will also introduce a variety of terrifying and UNBOUND punishments that perfectly matched the evil deeds committed in life, the history of the changing image of hell between Japanese people, and variations on hell in Western Christianity.
The program will be hosted by Chiaki Kuriyama, narrated by Jouji Nakata, and hosted by announcer Masato Ikema.
