The synopsis of the final episode (to be aired on September 15th) of the drama "Black Pean Season 2," starring Ninomiya Kazunari and currently airing on TBS's "Sunday Theater" slot (Sundays at 9pm) has been released. The final episode will be extended by 25 minutes.

In episode 10, during a public operation on Amagi (Ninomiya Kazunari) at the International Congress of Cardiac Surgery, the patient Tokunaga (Inoue Hajime)'s temperature rises suddenly and he develops malignant hyperthermia when the internal thoracic artery is about to be dissected. With no medicine to suppress malignant hyperthermia, Amagi, who is reminded of his mother's nightmare, decides to perform an extremely dangerous operation in which he uses a heart-lung machine during the bypass surgery. Takashina (Koizumi Kotaro) supports him.

The story is based on "Blaze Scalpel 1990" and "Surijie Center 1991" (Kodansha Bunko) by Kaido Takeru, who is known for the "Team Batista's Glory" series. In season 1, Ninomiya plays Tokai Seijiro, a genius surgeon nicknamed "the devil of the operating room," and in season 2, he plays Amagi Yukihiko, a world-renowned expert in coronary artery bypass surgery and a money-grubber known as "Diable (the devil)." It was revealed that the two are twins.
