The 34th episode of the NHK Taiga drama "To You, Shining," starring Yoshitaka Yuriko, will air on September 8th. The monks of Kofuku-ji Temple storm into the capital, making demands of the Imperial Court. Michinaga (Emoto Tasuku) rushes to settle the situation.

Meanwhile, Mahiro (Yoshitaka) writes the story and attracts attention at court, but the relationship between Emperor Ichijo (Shiono Akihisa) and Empress Shoshi (Migami Ai), which is his target, does not deepen. Michinaga's longing for Shoshi to become pregnant is far from coming true, and a series of ominous events, such as illness and fires, occur in the capital, so Michinaga makes a once-in-a-lifetime decision.

In the midst of all this, the Emperor comes to visit Mahiro...

The preview also includes Mahiro's voice saying, "All the lords are lovely."

"To You, Shining" is the 63rd Taiga drama. The story is set in the aristocratic society of the mid-Heian period, and the protagonist is Murasaki Shikibu (Mahiro), who later wrote "The Tale of Genji," said to be the world's oldest novel written by a woman. The screenplay was written by Oishi Shizuka, who is writing a taiga drama for the second time since "Koumyou ga Tsuji" in 2006, and depicts the glittering world of the Heian aristocracy and the life of a woman who lived, wrote, and loved with all her heart.
