The eighth episode of the drama series "Aoshima-kun is Mean" (TV Asahi, Saturday 11pm) will be broadcast on September 7th. Aoshima (Watanabe Shota) and Yukino (Nakamura Anne) are faced with a "family wall".

Aoshima's biological mother Kumi (Kimura Tae) appears in front of Yukino at the end of the previous episode. When Aoshima introduces Kumi as "the woman who gave birth to me", Yukino realizes that she still doesn't know anything about Aoshima-kun..." During her lunch break, she talks with Aoshima on the roof of the company. However, Aoshima also confesses that he is confused by the sudden appearance of Kumi two years ago, who left him when he was a child and was "like a stranger".

Yukino visits Aoshima's second mother Tamayo (Ito Nobuko) and third mother Reiko (Yada Akiko) alone to ask for advice. There, she hears that Aoshima may not be sure about "marriage" or "becoming a family" due to his complicated family background. Furthermore, Kumi suddenly turns up at Yukino's house and starts saying, "I want you to break up with Mizuki."

Meanwhile, Aoshima asks Yukino out on a date. When Yukino arrives at the meeting place, she finds Aoshima there, looking somehow gloomy...

The drama is a live-action adaptation of the popular web manga by Yoshii Yu, co-starring Snow Man's Watanabe and Nakamura. It depicts the love story between Yukino, who has distanced herself from romance, and Aoshima, a colleague who is nine years younger than her. The total number of views for the latest episode 7 on catch-up streaming has exceeded 16.84 million (according to Video Research, measurement period: July 7th to September 5th). Every episode has been ranked number one on TVer's overall rankings, making it a hot topic.
